Spanning eight-hundred miles, east and west, this forest edges the sea along the southwestern edge of the Elven Territory. The trees are coastal in type, and the air is soft with the smell of salt. The grass is green and lush, not thinning out until about forty feet from the seaside edge of the forest.
As is the same everywhere in the Elven Kingdom, life is all around, a fawn hidden away there, birds fluttering and chirping loudly among the trees and bushes.
The soft greens and browns are intermingled with an array of different colors, set off by wild flowers of all kinds. Reds, blues, yellows, and flashes of white permeate the forest. Along the coast line, the sand is soft, the color of snow. In the water, the sand hides a great many delicacies that make wading profitable for the appetite.
Deeper down, the sand gives way to stony outcroppings, and if you aren't adverse to holding your breath for a while, clams and mussels have adhered themselves to the rocks. It takes a few seconds to get them free, but the briny flesh of these creatures are a worthy treat.
Fish of many varieties swim along these shores, bright colors and flashing fins.
